What sets the FPC apart isn’t just what it is going to do, but how it is going to do it. As a principles-based organization, the FPC’s structure, operations and activities are designed to adhere to the fundamental principles of inclusiveness and fairness; flexibility and responsiveness; and transparency in decision making. With already more than 150 members, the FPC is a growing and diverse community that allows safe forums for dialogue across industry segments.

With diverse members at the table from financial institutions to business end-users, the FPC has kicked off a series of work groups to address the issues that are standing in the way of broad faster payments adoption in the United States. Work groups provide a tangible avenue for FPC members to become engaged and lend their expertise. Three of these work groups have already launched and are hard at work to achieve the following:

It’s a pivotal time in the nation’s payment evolution, and the FPC represents a unique opportunity to be in the driver’s seat as we navigate toward a shared vision of faster payments ubiquity. We need all voices at the table with individuals such as yourself who can bring diverse perspectives, expertise and knowledge to the FPC.
