Accredited Faster Payments Professional

Nacha and the U.S. Faster Payments Council, in collaboration with our nation’s Payments Associations, formed an alliance in 2022 to create the Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP) program. This partnership demonstrates a cross-industry collaboration to benefit the entire payments ecosystem. 

The AFPP builds on the FPP certificate program, offering a rigorous and centralized accreditation program allowing payments professionals to demonstrate their expertise across all faster payment types, including Same Day ACH, instant payments, and wire. Registration for the AFPP exam is open from October 6, 2025 – January 2, 2026. The upcoming exam window is February 16 - March 14, 2026. See the Nacha website for more details.
